During one of our mission trips to Ecuador, I arrived emotionally exhausted, physically overwhelmed, and carrying the weight of ministry burnout, stress, grief, and spiritual pressure from difficult seasons in leadership. We were there to minister and serve a congregation for over a month, but during that time, God began ministering to me too. I noticed many people living in Ecuador were older, living longer, and looked healthier than many of us in the USA.
